Interview: Emily McLean, Film Producer & Entertainment Business Manager

Hello! I am so glad that you happened to stumble upon my website!

I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with Emily McLean, a local film producer and entertainment business manager, and interview her about her career.

Through the conversation she revealed what she does as a film producer and entertainment business manager, how she finds work, and her relationship with actors. She also divulged her favorite time on set of the new film Little Women, of which she was the locations manager.

Before you watch the videos though, I want to explain that I met Emily while working under her at CVX Live 2018. Due to my hard work and outstanding personality (it’s true, ask her) we were able to form a connection and only then did I feel comfortable asking her for an interview.

Lesson Learned: Be good to others and they will be good to you.

This is Part 1 of my interview with Emily McLean. I separated them into 3 parts so you wouldn’t lose any of the valuable information she provided!

Check back every week to hear the rest of the interview!

Here is Part 2 of my interview! Emily shares her secret to finding and keeping work as a film producer and entertainment business manager.

In Part 3 Emily talks about her positive relationship with actors and her favorite day on set of Little Women.

Below is the exclusive video you have been wanting! Emily answers the question: If you were on a desert island and could only bring one book, movie, and song, what would they be?

Now tell me what would your desert island picks be? And what did you learn from this interview?
